For over a decade we've been trying to define and describe the practice of Content Strategy. Today the field is larger and more complicated than ever, and some people are putting aside the title Content Strategist for titles that are more specific, more descriptive of the work they do, and easier to grasp: Content Designer, UX Writer, Producer. But, before we leave Content Strategy behind completely, let's take a closer look at the foundational elements of this concept and reframe what they mean for the ever-expanding responsibilities of digital content professionals. Content Strategy as a methodology could inform and unite a wide range of content-related practices, in a growing number of content, design, and technology disciplines.
