It’s almost time — DCC time! We’re days away from the 2021 Design & Content Conference and we want to make sure you feel as ready and excited as we are.
Here’s a list of the details. Don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions.
All event times are listed in PDT (west coast North America) and the live stream will broadcast from the members section of the DCC site. Everything kicks off at 8:30am PDT on Wednesday July 21st. You can sign in 10 mins early if you like. :)
Sign in to your account on content.design where you’ll find the live stream, speaker downloads, and sponsor extras. Don’t leave this to the last minute — create your account now so you can test it out and be ready to roll at 8:30am PDT on Wednesday July 21st. The email you registered with (and should be receiving this email at) is your event ticket.
To sign in:
- Go to https://content.design/activate
- Enter the email you registered with for the event
- Check your email for a link to create your password (check your spam folder if you can’t find it)
- Sign in with your password from step 3 and you’ll be taken right to the livestream page
Join the DCC Slack group. Slack is where all discussion, Q&A, and speaker/attendee interaction will happen — don’t miss it! You'll be able to join via the members menu after you acrtivate your account.
Note: We’ve disabled message deletion, but you can edit a message for up to 5 minutes after it’s posted. This is to help with accountability to our code of conduct on Slack. If you need a message deleted, reach out to Steve Fisher (that’s me!). Thanks for helping us make DCC a safe place for everyone!
Make sure your internet connection is reliable, have slack and the livestream open, and be ready to learn and share! If your connection drops — the talk recordings will be available as soon as the speaker is done, with the exception of our panels, which will be posted early the following week.
